The 2007 Pre-Regatta Announcement:
The 2007 West Marine Fun Regatta
hosted by the Santa Cruz Yacht Club is
one in a series of summertime West Marine Fun Regattas.
Racing runs Saturday and Sunday, September 8 and 9, 2007.
Check-in starts at 9 am at the Santa Cruz Yacht Club
on the west side of the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor.
Intermediate and advanced sailors aged 8-18
are encouraged to register in one of these fleets:
- 29er
- 420
- Byte
- El Toro Advanced (A)
- El Toro Intermediate (B)
- FJ
- Laser Full Rig
- Laser Radial
- Laser 4.7
- Optimist Blue/Red (ages 11 - 15)
- Optimist White (ages 10 & under)
Sorry, but due to ocean conditions,
this regatta is not appropriate for beginner sailors.
Enjoy racing on Monterey Bay,
lunch on Saturday and Sunday,
breakfast on Sunday, Tee-Shirt, Prizes,
and great sailing!!!
